Hand fabricated Ouroboros ring in sterling silver, encircling a beautiful and unusual Septarian stone. The stone features a natural dragon/reptilian-scale pattern against black with a slight hint of chocolate tones.
"Life, death, rebirth". The ancient Ouroboros eating its own tail is an ancient symbol that originated in Egyptian iconography then made its way into Western tradition via Graeco-Roman texts such as the Greek Magical Papyri (Greek Magical tradition) where it was first introduced. A symbol commonly used in Gnosticism, Heremeticism and most notably Alchemy, the ouroboros represents cyclical renewal, transformation, and the transmigration of souls (reincarnation).
