SHIPPING
Shipping times may vary and experience delays due to postal customs regulations.
If you do not receive your item within the timeframe outlined, please contact me. I work hard to ensure that tracking is provided (and outside US according to Overseas requirements) for all items are expedited in a timely manner.
For US customers, shipping is by USPS Priority, and Mail (insurance can be included) and usually arrives within 3-5 business days.
For International customers, orders are shipped using USPS First Class International Package rates and can take about 2-3 weeks (10 days and in extreme cases up to 2 months) to arrive, based on different countries and their requirements. Unfortunately, insurance for items shipping overseas is not provided but registered mail is an option. Once the item leaves US borders, the item is subject to different countries' customs regulations. It is the customer's responsibility to insure that the correct address information is given at the time of purchase, as I cannot be held responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged in the mail. Alternative shipping options are not offered at this time, and shipping prices are subject to change based on adjusted rates via the US Postal Service.
COMMISSIONS
Do you do custom work?
Yes. I am to commissions and if you have a specific idea in mind, feel free to contact me and let's talk.
Custom work is evaluated on a case-by-case basis with materials, time and labor taken into consideration. Timeframes for completion also depend on the complexity of the design. Everything is made starting from sheet metal (occasionally cast by hand). Bulk quantities are limited and subject to the complexity of a specific design. Some pieces are completely one of a kind and cannot be reproduced in large amounts.
I typically work in small batches for certain designs that are simple and can be easily reproduced by hand. I don't use machines are cast on a large scale although I am constantly learning and working to improve.
For simple pieces that are easy to reproduce I typically work in small batches although all pieces are still handmade from start to finish, and will have small variations.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGE
My goal is to provide the best customer service to my clients and always work toward solutions and resolutions to problems, should they arise. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, I will provide a full-refund.
The customer is responsible for sending back items (in new/un-used condition with original packaging), and is responsible for all return-postage costs. Refunds will be issued once the returned item is received.
DAMAGE AND REPAIRS
On occasion, accidents may happen and due to the custom nature of each piece I am willing to offer reasonable repairs to pieces, such as a stone falling out (replaced if available) or minimal damage at no fault of the owner. I am not responsible for any damage that is done to a piece through carelessness, abuse or improper jewelry care and all repairs are evaluated based on the complexity of damage to the design and the availability of stones. Some stones are one of a kind and cannot be replaced. Cracked, chipped or broken stones cannot be repaired and must either be replaced with a new stone (if available) or a different stone.
GLOAM JEWELRY is run by one woman and all of my work is made by hand. I do not use any machines to manufacture my work, preferring traditional metalsmithing techniques. I also support independent artists and small businesses. and collaborate with other creatives in the spirit of always following one's passion and dreams.
